The sedentary statue of Senju-sengen Kanzeon Bosatsu (Kannon with 1,000 arms, each of which has an eye), enshrined in the Fujiidera Temple, is a national treasure, said to have been created by Kei Mon'e and his son Kei Shukun, both renowned sculptors of Buddhist statues in the Nara period. The statue is exhibited only on the 18th day of each month and on August 9, the day of sen-nichi mairi.
